Amel Johnson is a professional florist, originally from Ethiopia in East Africa. She studied floral design in Amsterdam, Holland, specializing in wedding and funeral. Her passion in life is to work with flowers as she has a special gift and love for nature. After 6 years of operating her own floral business in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, she decided it to moved to the United States to continue her career passion and dream in floral design. She attended the Floral Design Institute  Seattle, WA, to further advance her design skills. After completing the courses, she re-opened her floral business in Seattle, WA.

 

Currently, Amel is advancing her education as a professional event planner. She plans to incorporate her floral design business background into a new career and provide this as an added service. She is currently in Professional Event Planner & Coordinator.  She is curently Central Washington University to achieve a Bachelors in Event Management. Her current goals and focus are balancing her business, family, and improving herself. She currently resides in Seattle Washington with her husband, Stephen, and their three daughters.
